Terms of Service
The terms and conditions that govern your use of the SIEMate platform and this website.

By accessing siemate.com or deploying the SIEMate software, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to do so.
1. Definitions
"SIEMate" refers to the AI-powered security operations platform provided by us, including all software, documentation, and associated services.
"Platform" means the SIEMate software you deploy on your own infrastructure.
"Website" means siemate.com and its subdomains.
"You" means the individual or organisation accessing or using SIEMate.
"Enterprise Agreement" means a separate written agreement between you and us governing your use of SIEMate.
2. Licence Grant
Subject to these Terms and any applicable Enterprise Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to deploy and use the SIEMate Platform solely for your internal business operations within your own infrastructure.
This licence does not include the right to sublicense, resell, redistribute, or make the Platform available to third parties as a service without our prior written consent.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform or Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
- Use the Platform to conduct offensive security operations against systems you do not own or have explicit authorisation to test
- Misrepresent the origin or capabilities of the Platform to third parties
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, network, or data
4. Self-Hosted Deployment
SIEMate is delivered as self-hosted software. You are solely responsible for:
- Securing your deployment environment and the infrastructure it runs on
- Managing access controls, credentials, and API tokens
- Ensuring your use of connected SIEM platforms complies with those platforms' terms
- Maintaining backups of your configuration, rules, and knowledge base data
- Keeping your deployment up to date with security patches
5. AI-Generated Content
SIEMate uses large language models (LLMs) to generate queries, detection rules, investigation summaries, and other outputs. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not suitable for production use without human review
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving any AI-generated detection rule, query, or action before deployment
- We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular security purpose
6. Intellectual Property
SIEMate and all associated intellectual property, including but not limited to the software, documentation, trademarks, and website content, are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Detection rules, queries, and other content you create using the Platform remain your intellectual property.
7. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other party in connection with these Terms and to use such information solely for the purpose of performing its obligations under these Terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities. Use of the Platform for security-critical operations is at your own risk, and all AI-generated outputs must be reviewed by qualified personnel before acting on them.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or Website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform or Website after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration or in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which we are incorporated, as specified in any applicable Enterprise Agreement.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable Enterprise Agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding SIEMate and supersede any prior agreements on this subject.
